- DIR/Floor Time ®
- DIR/Floor Time ® takes into consideration the actual developmental levels of a child, supports any underlying neurological differences that may be impeding development, while encouraging a co-regulated relationship between the child and his/her environment.
Dr. Hess uses the highly successful "DIR/Floor Time" method of intervention based on the model of the renowned psychiatrist Dr. Stanley Greenspan, with whom Dr. Hess has spent numerous years training with.
Using a hands on approach, Dr. Hess creates a comfortable and highly interactive environment for her patients, so that the children begin to feel in control of their surroundings.
